The DJI CSM Radar (Collision Sensing and Avoidance Radar) on the Matrice M300 is an advanced sensor system designed to enhance the drone's obstacle avoidance capabilities. The radar system is capable of detecting objects up to 150m away and can provide high-resolution data to the drone's flight controller, allowing it to avoid collisions even in complex and dynamic environments.

The DJI CSM Radar uses a frequency-modulated continuous wave (FMCW) radar technology, which emits a low-power electromagnetic wave and measures the time delay and frequency shift of the wave that is reflected back from objects in its path. Based on this data, the radar can accurately determine the location, distance, and speed of objects, enabling the drone to detect and avoid potential obstacles with greater precision and reliability.

In addition to the CSM Radar, the Matrice M300 also features a range of other sensors and technologies, including vision sensors, infrared sensors, and a high-precision GPS system, all of which work together to provide comprehensive situational awareness and ensure safe and stable flight operations.
